Shipping
Every piece is made in the atelier in Ghent. If your chosen piece is in stock, it will be shipped as soon as possible within the week you purchased it. If your piece is not in stock, it will be made. For silver pieces, this will take around 2 weeks before the shipment is made to you. If the piece is gold-plated, it will be at least an extra 2 weeks on top of that. Do you have a deadline? Return and refund
From the day you receive your package, you have 14 calendar days to return your piece. You, as a customer, are responsible for the way the package will be returned. You will be refunded within 14 days. The amount of the refund is the amount of the purchased pieces, not including shipping costs.

Expectations
Is your piece visibly worn? Then your piece cannot be refunded. Jewellery is a delicate piece of luxury.

Warranty
Does your piece have a defect? Warranty is up to two years. This is only possible if you can prove your piece was not damaged by you.

Examples:
Gemstones: The gemstones Ark & Siel uses are very durable. Their hardness has a minimum of 6.5 on the Mohs scale. This means that every gemstone Ark & Siel offers is harder than glass and will not be affected by a knife. This does not mean that the gemstones are as durable as diamonds. The gemstones can crack when your jewellery falls from a significant height. When this happens, the gemstone can be replaced, but this does not fall under warranty and takes a bit of time to repair (matching the gemstone’s size and colour, replacing the gemstone).

Scratches: Every piece in the collection that is not custom-made is made from 100% sterling silver (925). Silver is very durable, but scratches will form over time. This is the beauty of jewellery. This does not mean that the piece is damaged.
