Ghentian jewellery brand Ark & Siel doesn’t do trends or target audiences. Instead, it forges pieces that resonate with its creator, Joren Verneert. Necklaces that boost his dopamine levels. Rings he never tires of looking at. In short: glimmering gems he himself wears on the daily.

Call it selfish, or call it honest. Either way, Ark & Siel is born from a designer’s instinct. A creative soul convinced there’s nothing more fulfilling than spending days (going on nights) in an atelier, handcrafting silver, gold, and gold plated pieces. And nothing more satisfying than putting them on afterwards.

Ark & Siel’s necklaces, rings and earrings are an ode to beauty. Aesthetics over functionality, without ever compromising on wearability. About the designer

Joren Verneert studied graphic design before training as a goldsmith and jewellery designer in Antwerp. He spent years at various local ateliers refining his craft before launching his own brand, Ark & Siel. To Joren, designing is both work and play: it’s his way to feel focused, fulfilled, alive. Jewellery isn’t just what he does. It’s who he is.
